Anna Msowoya-Keys is a proud native of Malawi - a small beautiful country located in southern Africa bordering Mozambique, Zambia, and Tanzania.  Anna has lived in the United States since 1998 with her husband and two sons.  Anna has two strong passions that she has been able to combine together with Chibekeni Global Treasures.  Anna's first passion is helping people:  she has worked for non-profit humanitarian organizations helping refugees and others in dire need in places like Malawi, Rwanda, and Mozambique.  Anna's second passion is her entrepreneurial spiri

By opening Chibekeni Global Treasures she is able to combine her entrepreneurial spirit with her life-long work of helping others.  Anna travels to Africa frequently to work with aid organizations, women's groups, and artisans.  She searches for unique and beautiful items that will attract people to Africa and help those artisans make a decent living.  Chibekeni Global Treasures embraces all Fair Trade practices.
